Villages play an important role in Minecraft. However, they are not perfect. There are a lot of issues that people have with these villages, such as what they offer and their spawn rate. This creates frustrating gameplay that can lead to numerous issues in game. The Better Villages Mod can fix some of these problematic aspects of villages. By adding more to the game and fixing some of what is wrong, you have a better experience with villages and more to do. It makes it easier to build, survive, and do what you need to do.

Villages now spawn everywhere. With this mod, you will not have to wait around for a village or worry about being in the middle of nowhere. More frequent spawning and spawning closer together makes the villages more accessible. When you leave a village, you can trust that one will be close to you. Part of the reason for this is that they can now spawn just about anywhere, using up land that the base game does not use for villages. Spawn rate is fixed, as well, to ensure that there is a good amount of villages in different biomes.

Spawning anywhere does mean just about anywhere. Except for The End Biome, villages spawn in every biome available.

Inside of the villages, you also have some improvements. The villagers have a low chance of attacking zombies, villages have 5 or more houses when spawned, and everything looks better. The villages are more attractive now, with several changes to provide more light and better aesthetics. Changes in light source outside of the village, the addition of torches inside, the addition of fences and lily pads around gardens, and other small changes have made for beautiful villages.

The villager AI has improved, too, and as has the entire GUI. You have a better build in general. While fixing village-related concerns is always great, these extras alterations and improvements have helped to make the game play more smoothly. You have fewer hiccups along the way when navigating the game. This includes everything from villages to menus.

The Better Villages Mod Minecraft experience is just better. The mod designs better villages in every way, improving this important area of the game. For anyone who wants to get the most out of their travels in Minecraft, this is a mod to have.
