Bookshelf Mod is one of the numerous cores and libraries available in the Minecraft. Basically, it is a core ore library mod that expands upon Forge and Minecraft by adding new features, tools, utilities, hooks, and events into the game for other content creators to work with. The primary focus of this project is to make use of the combined strength of the modded community to create wonderful tools that everyone can use.

It is easy to build Bookshelf from the repository by using Forge Gradle. Bookshelf makes use of the Forge Gradle Wrapper, which is included as part of the repository. These bookshelves behave exactly like the vanilla bookshelf, and they are also part of the ore dictionary. Especially, utilities that the mod brings to Minecraft are significantly diversified, including Horse Armor to add new horse armor to the game, ItemStack Colors which can change the color of any item by using a command or editing NBT, ItemEnchantedEvent for altering enchantment behavior and more.

Remember that Boolshelf Mod is only a supporting mod, so it will not any effect when installing independently in Minecraft. It will help other mods to run, reduce the size of the file, save time as well as optimize the system. It is also noticed that if you do not install this mod before using basic mods, it will cause some errors in the game and you cannot load until logging into the main menu.

How to install:

  • Download Minecraft Forge
  • Right click, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if you’ve installed Minecraft Forge)
  • Open Start on desktop => Open Run (Or you can use the Windows +R keyboard shortcut)
  • Type %appdata% into Run and press enter
  • Go to folder /.minecraft/mods
  • Put the jar file of Mod into mods folder and then run Minecraft. Done!
